Babol Noshirvani University of Technology is the only public university of technology in Mazandaran province and northern Iran, which was established by Seyyed Hossein Fallah Noshirvani, the philanthropist of Babylon, by donating 16 hectares of land and 11 thousand square meters of educational space in 1348.
